My training, certifications, and background in wellness and health care<\/h1>

Welcome! This page outlines my professional education, certifications, and the real-world experience I bring to my work as a Holistic Wellness Consultant. But it is more than a list of credentials\u2014it\u2019s a window into the journey that shaped the way I serve others today.<\/p>

My path to becoming a Holistic Wellness Consultant began long before I earned certifications. It began with my own body\u2014struggling, signaling, and slowly teaching me how to listen. I didn\u2019t arrive here overnight. In 2010, I began a personal wellness journey born out of necessity\u2014facing physical symptoms, life stress, and deep questions about how to truly feel well. Over the years, I navigated the overwhelm of the wellness world, made mistakes, learned lessons, and discovered that true healing is not one-size-fits-all.<\/p>

A significant turning point came in 2022, when I was formally diagnosed with the homozygous MTHFR gene mutation. Suddenly, many of the struggles I had endured throughout my life\u2014chronic inflammation, detoxification challenges, hormonal imbalances, and heightened sensitivity to medications\u2014began to make sense. This diagnosis added a vital layer of understanding to both my personal healing and professional mission. It deepened my dedication to helping others uncover and work with their unique genetic makeup\u2014especially those navigating the complex terrain of methylation challenges and chronic health issues.<\/p>

In addition to genetics and integrative wellness, astrology became one of the most profound tools in my practice. It offers a cosmic overview of a person\u2019s life\u2014one that reveals the patterns, cycles, and core themes that often go unnoticed in daily experience. Astrology helps us zoom out and understand the “why” behind our challenges and gifts. It shows us timing, purpose, and the deeper story we\u2019re living\u2014often providing answers to questions we didn\u2019t even know how to ask. Together with the science of the body, astrology helps bring soul-level insight into healing.<\/p>

This lived experience\u2014combined with years of professional training and hands-on work in the medical field\u2014allows me to guide others with both compassion and clarity. Below is a summary of the formal and personal experiences that support the work I do today.<\/p>

Telemetry Floor Secretary & Monitor Technician<\/strong> \u2013 2 years supporting a hospital cardiac unit and monitoring heart rhythms<\/p>

This foundation helps me bridge traditional medical understanding with integrative wellness approaches.<\/p>

Personal Caregiving & Healing Journey<\/h2>

From 2017 to 2021, I was the primary caregiver for my mother throughout her cancer journey, from diagnosis through hospice care. That experience deeply shaped my ability to hold space for others during their most vulnerable moments.<\/p>

I\u2019ve also been on my own self-guided wellness journey since 2010\u2014navigating chronic health challenges, experimenting with healing modalities, and learning firsthand the importance of intuition, self-advocacy, and discernment in the wellness world. This lived experience is invaluable to my clients because I know what it feels like to be searching for answers, and I walk alongside them\u2014not above them.<\/p>
